Spring Breaking in South Carolina (extremely late post but I have pics)

Every year we make it our duty to visit our family in South Carolina.  South Carolina has earned a spot in my heart and have me deciding on whether I want to retire there or retire in the islands when I get old and grey.  Our typical visit usually ends up with me just wanting to be indoors, because that is my time to just relax from the hustle and bustle of work.  This year we decided to be a little adventurous and visited the South Carolina Museum, RiverBanks Zoo and Gardens and also drove up to Myrtle Beach.

The museum visit was very interesting since South Carolina has a very strong history and just showing the kids how our ancestors lived and seeing old artifacts was amazing to me.  Zoos I am not really a fan of because I think animals should not be kept in captivity.  Myrtle Beach was a long drive from home but it was a nice little hangout which kind of reminded me of Hollywood Beach in Florida.  Here are some of our few captured moments.
