Pre-Father’s Day Thought

June 16, 2012

I have had this on my mind for a minute; so on the eve of Father’s Day, I will touch on it.  I have read different people statuses and hearing people talk about men who pay child support and glorify them for doing that.  My question is why glorify them for doing that? Isn’t that what they are supposed to do anyways?

I am not taking any stabs at nor offend anyone, it was just a thought!

On that note, Happy Father’s Day to all the men who play that role.

    1. It’s sad that it’s come to that. Men getting glorified for doing the expected. Not throwing any shade on the good fathers out there, but the dead beat ones make it that way. It’s as if it has to take an act of God to get some men to step up and be responsible for their offspring.
