This weekend I attended a Polka Dot Theme Party hosted by the ever gracious Loverly Sheridan.  She was featured by me here http://mizilide.com/2016/01/a-girl-like-her-loverly-sheridan/ (Go read a little more about her).  From the moment I entered her sanctuary I felt at peace even though it was in nature and that kind of nature and I are not friends (you know lizards and all).  Everyone was dressed to the theme, which is a first for me since people don’t like to follow themes when asked. I haven’t been to a tea party since I was a kid, so this was a very nice experience and also just meeting more talented women, sharing their stories, some of them also sharing their fears was very empowering.  Our gracious hostess, (I call her the hostest with the mostest) gave a very heart warming and empowering speech touching on her journey with traveling, being a gracious giver and receiver, following your heart and not letting people hold you back, and above all belief in God.
