I find One Island Band (a band out of NY) have come a long way…..from being on the road with t-shirts to now getting 1st place in Miami…..wow and Wassie Ones been in the business for so long, you would think that she would have placed higher; unless she doh give 2 hoots about winning. I saw some of Wassie Ones costumes for this year and they have improved so much from when she first started and also saw some of the other bands that placed higher than her costumes and was like ummmmm. I wonder what the judging criteria was for Miami Broward Carnival…. is always ah bacchanal in carnival eh.
