TcBrown, The Mecca, Chrycee, Meshack & CJ Call for a Better Way
The power of music as a platform for social change simply cannot be denied. Understanding this and concerned by the recent upsurge in violence in Saint Lucia, five of Saint Lucia’s prominent music artists have united in one voice, heralding the call for a Better way.
This powerful music collaboration was sparked by what is now referred to as Bloody Sunday—that fateful January day when the island recorded some five murders. As Producer, Songwriter and Artiste; TcBrown sat in his ChangaPro Studio, mulling the recent spate of violence, he was inspired to use his talent and art to pen a plea to our nation to find a better way at resolving conflict. TcBrown reached out to music colleagues The Mecca, Chrycee, Meshach and Trumpeter Clarence Joseph to join forces and produce a music track which will resonate deeply and spark discourse centered on addressing the burgeoning crime wave affecting the island.
